Ingredients

4 egg yolks

65g(3 oz) caster sugar
|
100 ml (4 fl oz) Marsala
|
Preparation:
1. Beat the egg yolks and sugar together in a large bowl. Add the marsala and beat until mixed.
2. Place the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water and heat gently, whisking the mixture until it is very thick and creamy.
3. To serve, pour the Zabaglione into six glasses and serve immediately, with sponge.
