Breakfast recipe: Dosa



Ingredients:

Rice --------------------------1/4 kg
Split black gram -------------100gms
Salt-------------------------- 1 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds ----------1tbsp
Oil ----------------------------to taste

four members

Best combination:

chutney and sambar with little sugar


Time required:

Pre-work: ( making the batter)-one night

To do: less than 5 minutes


Preparation technique:

1. Soak rice, split black gram and fenugreek seeds for 8 hours.

2. Add little water and grind each of them to a fine thin batter individually.Then mix them. We grind them individually for proper fermentation of split black gram.

3. Add salt to it and let it ferment for next ten hours.

4. The batter is ladled over a tawa in circles and greased with 1 table spoon of oil.

5. Once the dosa is well boiled and turns golden brown, remove from the tawa.
Serve them hot.

6. Garnish with chopped onion and tomato for added taste.
