Halwa Recipes: Beetroot Halwa


Beetroot 500gm

Sugar 200gm

Milk 200ml

Ghee 50gm

Serves : Five members

Preparation Time : 40 minutes

Best time to have : Snacks, Anytime

Best combination : bread and dosai.

Preparation method:

1. Peel the beetroot and sieve it.

2. Pressure cook beetroot, sugar and milk for 3 whistles.

3. Transfer this mixture into a kadai.

4. Add ghee into the mixture and mix it well.

5. Once the halwa turns non-sticky, it is time to taste the delicious halwa.
